Below are descriptions of programs VOICES does during the year:

Annual Programs

VOICES puts on four annual programs for the UTSA community:

Babcock Road Clean-up: A chance for UTSA students to cleanup the surrounding community.
Oxfam Hunger Banquet: A dramatization to show the problems of world hunger.
United to Serve : A one day event in which the UTSA community may dedicate their time to service.
Alternative Spring Break: A way to give a week of service other than partying during Spring Break.

Weekly Projects

VOICES provides a variety of volunteer opportunities every weekend such as: Habitat for Humanity, San Antonio Food Bank, SAMM Shelter, Basura Bash, various benefits, walks and marathons, and the list goes on. Projects are chosen by the VP of Programs, by recommendations from members and officers. Many other opportunities arise and are setup for students, faculty, or staff to participate in the activities that interest you. Have an idea? We can acommodate!
